For 1962 Ford introduced four new models of their wildly popular Thunderbird. This represents a very nice primarily original example of the “lets-go-adventuring” Thunderbird Convertible, in which less than 10,000 were built for this model year. The other styles consisted of the Hardtop, Landau and Sports Roadster.

The quartet sang a song of power with sophisticated formality and the sheer brilliance of creating a perceived individuality for each similar car produced. Your personal Thunderbird is here, awaiting the opportunity for you to discover it.

Finished in Code E Acapulco Blue with a matching interior and original white power-operated convertible top; this T-Bird is powered by a 390-cid Thunderbird Special V-8 engine with an automatic transmission. The approximately 30,000 miles on the odometer are reported as original to the car (title exempt). The original upholstery and carpets are reported to be in the car; while the paint and chromed elements are stated to be in excellent condition. Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels with faux spinners, whitewall tires, seatbelts, original AM radio, rear fender skirts; power steering and brakes.

Thoughtful personal luxury, solid power and timeless style makes it very rewarding to have a Thunderbird in your garage.
