For 1959 the Chrysler Windsor retained the same body structure as the previous year but was redesigned. Virgil Exner’s dart-like design theme remained but was essentially toned down. The Windsor was offered in six different body styles. In 1959 Chrysler only produced 961 examples of the Windsor Convertible, making it the third rarest model in the Windsor lineup.
This beautiful 1959 Chrysler Windsor Convertible is presented in white with a red boot cover and great looking tailfins with integrated taillights. The car rides on wide whitewall tires mounted on wire wheels. The Windsor is powered by Chrysler’s “Golden Lion” 383-cid V-8 engine featuring dual carburetion. The engine is paired to a unique pushbutton automatic transmission. The interior is completed in red featuring a front bench seat with a fold-down armrest, seatbelts, a clock and a radio. The trunk houses a spare tire with cover.
