Mercury introduced the Park Lane in 1958. By 1960, it was on its final year of first generation production. The Park Lane was offered in three models the rarest of which was the two-door convertible which Mercury only produced 1,525 examples of in 1960. Ride comfort was stressed in period advertising, with Mercury vying for the market segment of buyers who wanted a nicer vehicle than a Ford, but couldn’t afford a Lincoln.

This 1960 Mercury Park Lane is presented in white with a black convertible top. The car rides on wide whitewall tires with factory wheel covers and fender skirts covering the rear wheels. The Park Lane is powered by a V-8 engine which is paired to an automatic transmission. Power equipment on the car includes a power convertible top, steering and brakes. The interior is completed in two-tone black and gray with a padded dashboard and bench seating. Its reported to drive as well as a maintained luxury convertible should.
