Following World War II Ford continued to use their pre-war 1942 design. Like many other U.S. auto manufacturers, Ford implemented this practice from 1946 through 1948 with minor styling changes each year; usually to trim.

This 1948 Ford Super Deluxe Convertible is presented in Maize Yellow with a black Haartz convertible top. The car rides on Firestone Deluxe Champion wide whitewall tires with factory wheel covers. Additional exterior features include fog lights, as well as a chrome exhaust deflector. This Super Deluxe is powered by a 100-hp flathead V-8 engine which is paired to a three-speed manual transmission. The car features a red LeBaron Bonney interior; and is equipped with an electric clock, radio as well as a fresh-air heater. The previous owner purchased this excellent example from the estate of John M. O’Quinn, who had a large collection of cars. Mr. O’Quinn invested a considerable amount of money to bring this Ford to its present condition. One would be hard pressed to find a nicer example of a 1948 Ford Super Deluxe Convertible.
