Packard’s selling point in the roaring ‘20s was the fact that they had built a near bullet proof engine. In a 1925 advertisement, Packard boasts of Linton Wells’ drive from Los Angeles to New York without having to bring the engine or the car to a complete stop. This trek covered almost 4,000 miles.

Today, this 1925 Packard Restomod Roadster has been upgraded with modern drivetrain components. The body is finished with yellow paint over black fenders. The car rides on radial tires which are mounted on body color steel wheels. The outside of the car is still sporting many period attributes. These include polished headlamps, driving lights, rear-mounted spare tire and a single taillamp. The interior has been updated with modern gauges and bucket seats. The rumbleseat is still functional and is finished with plain stretched upholstery. Moving this classic is a more modern V-8 engine that is connected to manual transmission.
