The Dodge Polara series promoted luxury in a very reasonably priced package. If you look inside the Polara, you will see that it is nicely appointed in broad-backed comfort. The front seat has a center fold-down armrest and you have ample foot and legroom as you motor in open comfort – the convertible Polara required you run with an eight-cylinder engine.

Restored in a very tidy manner; this 1963 Dodge Polara Convertible is presented in a tone called “red” which looks most familiar with Dodge’s 1963 color of Vermilion. The new matching interior has contrasting and attractive stripes (four per bench) and this accent theme is also on the door panels, while the carpets match the main base color. The convertible top is black and is new with the restoration. The stainless and chromed trim elements are also reported as “excellent.” The Polara is equipped with Chrysler’s famous 318-cid, 230-hp V-8 engine with dual exhaust that is paired with a pushbutton controlled automatic transmission. This solid car is stated to run and drive well and is further fitted with AM radio, power steering, heater and defroster, radial whitewall tires and correct factory spinner wheel covers.

The 1963 Dodge line was promoted as “The Dependables” – this is one of them with ride, room, luxury and power – it’s a beautiful way to go.
