According to Galen’s Registry 2,400 Dodge Challenger T/A’s were built for the U.S. market; including 120 built for the Canadian market. For U.S. cars 989 were four-speed manuals and 1,411 were automatics. Today, it is reported that 998 U.S. spec cars are accounted for.

The owner reports that this Challenger is unrestored and original. It is powered by a 340-cid V-8 engine with a Six-Pack; and backed by a heavy duty, three-speed automatic transmission. The car is painted in Red (FE5) with a black interior and vinyl bucket seats. From the factory this car was equipped with the Trans Am Package, which was only available on the AAR ‘Cuda and the Challenger T/A. It is finished with a Rallye instrument cluster with a 150-mph speedometer, clock, tachometer, accessory gauges, wood grain applique and three-speed variable wipers. Also equipped is a AM/FM radio, T/A side stripers, center console and power brakes. Furthermore, the car has painted racing mirrors, driver’s side remote mirror, hood pins, sport hood, rear ducktail spoiler, drip rail moldings and dual side exhaust.
