By the mid 1970’s, Porsche had been producing 911s for a decade, and the little sports car from Stuttgart was considered to be the car by which all other sports cars were judged. The introduction of the 911SC in 1978 provided a healthy boost in power to the 911’s venerable 2.7-liter flat-six cylinder engine, resulting increased performance and a 0-60 mph time of about 6.3 seconds. Known for their bulletproof durability, these cars have aged exceptionally well and many remain on the road toady.

Finished in gold over beige interior and fitted with Porsche’s iconic “Whale Tail” spoiler, the odometer is currently showing 72,100 miles, all of which are believed to be original. Regularly driven by its current owner, this particular 911 SC benefits from just over $6,000 in service work including, new brake pads, calipers, new continental tires all round, and the instillation of a new fuel pump and fuse box amongst other minor items. Furthermore, the car was also upgraded with a modern Blaupunkt radio with a CD player. A wonderful driver, this would be an ideal acquisition for the enthusiast looking to purchase their first 911.
