The all-new Grand Prix was set to debut in 1970, but a strike delayed the introduction. Pontiac released the car for the 1973 model year with handsome lines that carried the traditional styling themes that it was known for. The 400 cubic inch V-8 engines were standard, but for this year only, a 455 cubic inch V-8 engine was an option.
This 1973 Grand Prix is finished in triple white and sporting just over 17,000 actual miles. The white interior is accented by black dash, center console and carpet. The car was a one-owner California car until 2006. The engine is the optional 455-cid V-8 matched with a 400 series Turbo-Hydramatic transmission. The car comes loaded with options that include air conditioning, AM/FM stereo radio, sport mirrors, tilt steering, pinstripes, factory Rally II wheels, whitewall tires; power steering, brakes and windows.
This car retains all of its original paint, interior and chassis. Because of this it has been given the AACA Historical Preservation of Origin Features designation. Included with the purchase of the vehicle are PHS documentation, build sheet, owner’s manual and warranty card.
