The International Scout was a change of pace in the automotive industry. It offered a different look for how people viewed trucks; they were always thought as being used for work and hauling items, but the having the ability to add a top and rear seats made it a much more practical vehicle. The Scouts exterior is not the only thing that set it apart from other manufactures. Advertising of the day stated, “Scout interiors. It makes getting there half the fun.” As standard equipment it came with a fully instrumented dash, full front seat, courtesy lights, glove compartment, padded sunvisors and armrests. Having an interesting vehicle is nice, but having a fully capable four-wheel drive machine makes for much more enjoyment. The Scout was ahead of its time, and this Scout II is ready for its new owner to enjoy all of its potential.
