For the 1958 model year Cadillac maintained similar features to the previous year except changes of a new grille highlighting multiple round ‘cleats” and the intersection of horizontal and vertical members. The grille insert was wider and the bumper guards were moved lower to that of the running lights. All the models carried dual headlights as well as small chrome fins on the front fenders. Trim accents were revised and tailfins were less pronounced. This particular Coupe DeVille contains a thundering 365-cid V-8 engine that is coupled to a smooth automatic transmission together, producing 300 horsepower. Great styling and plenty of power is what makes a luxury automobile and Cadillac has been perfecting that for years; which is why they were given the phrase “The Cadillac of cars.”
