This two-door J6 Coach electric vehicle has become known for its “phone booth” body styling. It is quite unique with its front and rear steering, braking and motor control capabilities. Which means that the operation of the vehicle can be done from either the front or back seat of the vehicle. The top speed of this automobile is said to be 26-mph and 42 six-volt electric batteries supply the power that is transmitted through six-forward gears and three-reverse gears. This particular vehicle is painted in green with a gray interior. It is believed between the model years of 1916-1919 Rauch and Lang produced approximately 700 electric automobiles. This J6 is a fantastic representation of an interesting time in history when gasoline cars had particular competition in the automotive market.
