Just when the American public thought the days of sporty excitement might be ending, Pontiac released the 1980 Firebird Trans Am Turbo. This example runs with the 4.9-liter V-8 factory turbocharged engine and is paired to a console-shift automatic transmission. This is reported as an original one-owner car until 2006, and it comes with its complete records from new until the 2006 date. It includes all owner’s manuals, warranty cards, invoices and more. This is stated to be a rust-free car with a very clean undercarriage; the trunk is “near perfect” complete with all correct tools and rare inflatable spare with the original canister.
The Dark Claret paint looks great with a red cloth interior that is original to the car. The decals on the exterior are original to the car, which is highlighted by polished factory Turbo cast-aluminum wheels with nearly new BFGoodrich T/A Radial tires. Factory air conditioning, tilt steering column, AM/FM radio, sport mirrors; power steering and brakes are also shown.
