This 1971 Oldsmobile is a confirmed 4-4-2 that is firmly believed by its current owner to be a W-30 machine. The engine and transmission have been corroborated as being W-30 components, while additional model specific aspects of the W-30 have not been proven to be unequivocally correct. Nevertheless, this exciting 4-4-2 has its original window sticker and is driven by the 455-cid V-8 engine that is matched to a Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission. It was built at the Lansing, Michigan facility and was originally delivered to Illini Motor Company in Springfield, Illinois. Additional equipment found on this Olds includes fiberglass dual intake hood, W-Machine Package, Rocket Rallye Pac, Super Stock III wheels, sports console, bucket seats, AM/FM stereo pushbutton radio, seatbelts, custom sport steering wheel, plus an “anti-spin" rear end, dual sport mirrors, hood pins and accent stripes.
