This Ranchero GT has the 429-cid, 360-hp engine and is restored beautifully. This car has been in the desert of Las Vegas all its life and this means that it has not seen any rust development. All the chrome parts have been restored and chromed approximately three years ago. The bed is in beautiful condition, no dings. The wheels are new, the model is like the old type slotted Megs, rear are 275x60x15, front are 215x60x15 with new BF Goodrich Radial tires.
This Ranchero is made in December 1971 and is one of the last ones with the engine rated with 360-hp. Changes under the hood include starter, alternator, water pump, A/C, it has been fitted with electronic ignition, new Edelbrock head covers and air filter canister, the engine has a new aluminum intake manifold. The exhaust manifold is alum tubing (aluminum coated tubes). The automatic transmission shifts smoothly. The front was professionally restored; the brakes are disks in the front and drums in the rear, new installed.
