This 1960 Ford Sunliner is powered by a 390-cid V-8 engine that is backed by a three-speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission. Among the equipment found on this stylish convertible is an AM radio, power soft-top, factory wheel covers, red, white and black vinyl interior, dual mirrors and power steering. Recent restoration work includes new Corinthian White paint per original code, new interior per code, new black convertible top, engine rebuild, new tires and recently re-chromed pieces. The 1960 Sunliner exhibits a new-for-1960 front end with new twin headlights and a scalloped square front clip, a sloped hood, chrome-edged fender lines and horizontal tailfins. This is a rare convertible with classic styling. While nearly 45,000 of these cars were produced, certain sources estimate that fewer than 1,000 still survive in fine, operating condition. With comfort and power that resonates boldly, this Ford Sunliner will undoubtedly add loads of fun and conversation to any automotive function or cruise.
