For the 1999 model year, 42,098 Camaros were produced for the U.S., and only 1,380 were SS coupes with an automatic. Approximately 140 cars were sprayed in Navy Blue finish. This SS coupe is certainly a rare find. The engine has been upgraded to an LS6 with even more horsepower. The LS6 is a higher-output version of GM's LS1 and retains the same capacity. It typically is rated between 385 and 405 horsepower. Other features include an aftermarket CD changer, power windows, door locks and seats plus air conditioning.
