Throughout the 20th century and in the 1960s in particular, Cadillac remained the undisputed leader of the American luxury car market. For 1965, Cadillac positioned itself for continued success with its completely restyled models. The dated tailfins were finally eliminated in favor of smart, blade-type rear fenders.

Class emanates from the convertible being offered, which is gratifyingly equipped with a 472-cid V-8 engine with 375-hp married to a three-speed automatic transmission. The paint is Corinthian Blue with complementing dark blue leather interior and a white power convertible top. Options on this car include power steering, brakes, windows, seats and locks; radio, climate control, cruise control, tilt wheel, soft-ray tinted glass, remote trunk release, trumpet horn, whitewall tires with original Cadillac wheel covers and fender skirts.
