The shape was all-new for 1971, but the philosophy was still the same; a no-nonsense platform (the Satellite) and sold at a price that was affordable to their customer base. Eye-catchingly styled with flared wheelwells, short rear deck and a sharply raked windshield, this steel blue-toned Road Runner has a black interior that is reported to be 90-percent original with a black vinyl top that is original to the car. The paint has been refinished once, and this occurred approximately five years ago. The V-8 engine and automatic transmission with shift kit are also said to be original to the car, which has only had one owner since 1975. Among the other equipment is chrome styled road wheels, Air Grabber hood, bench seats, racing-style mirror; power disjk brakes and a 4:11 rear end.
