Mustang’s third generation ran from 1978 to 1993. It evolved through a number of sub-models, trim levels and drivetrain combinations during this time. The fist significant redesign since the 1978 introduction came in 1986. Models were now paired down to the LX and GT. LX cars were generally regarded as more luxurious, while the GT package was considered the performance version. The 1992 Mustang LX received new bodyside moldings and bumper rubstrips that were color coded, giving an enhanced appearance to the exterior. The engine for the LX remained an inline 4 cylinder, producing 105 HP due to an eight plug cylinder head.
These cars were particularly well-built and are often still seen as daily drivers on the road today. This 1992 LX model Mustang has very low miles on the odometer and the overall condition and quality reflect its limited use. The car is very clean and without any known issues. It a presentable blue cloth interior without major blemishes to detract from being enjoyed with the top down. It is a Texas car and the features include a power blue vinyl top, power windows, power locks, power mirror, cruise control, AM/FM cassette, air conditioning and an automatic transmission. Perfect for the young driver or as a third car, this Mustang has plenty of life left and should be a fun addition to any family.
