Toyota’s Land Cruiser sport utility vehicle is the longest-lived model in the company’s history. The first, developed from Jeep specifications, went into production in 1951. The best-known model, the FJ40 such as offered here, dates from 1960. From then until 1984, more than a million were built.

This example is finished in red with a red interior and has been in the same family since it was purchased new. It runs with the F-series six-cylinder engine and has a three-speed manual transmission and is on a four-wheel drive platform. It is equipped with a PTO-driven winch, and the vehicle is reported to be all-original, down to the very nuts-and-bolts. It also comes with its correct drivetrain, original owner’s manual and service books.
