The Model T was revolutionary, but it couldn’t stay in production forever. The 1920s spawned numerous sophisticated automobiles with more modern styling. Henry Ford’s son, Edsel, eventually convinced his father to discontinue the model that brought the company so much success.

The Model A, released in 1928, included many new improvements such as a new battery and ignition system, four-wheel mechanical brakes and a new inline four-cylinder engine that would produce twice the power output of the Model T.

This Model A is handsomely finished in dark green with black fenders, top and interior. The engine is the 200.5-cid inline four-cylinder backed by a three-speed sliding gear transmission. It comes equipped with a driver’s sidemount spare tire, running board step plates and the bed is finished in oak with matching rails.
