The Ford Motor Company was making an impact on the compact car market with their Falcon. GM combatted this in 1962 with the debut of the Chevy II. The Nova would be considered the top-of-the -ine in the Chevrolet II series. Until 1969 when the Chevy II badge was replaced with a Nova badge. In 1966 the Chevy II was restyled with new exterior designs and Super Sport trim as well as V-8 engines were now readily available.

Offered here is a 1967 Nova SS that has a new red paint. The paint is accented lovely by new chrome trim, bumpers and emblems. The car has been fitted with new Firestone tires on Rally-style chrome wheels and traction bars. The interior has been completed with black front passenger bucket seats and a rear bench seat. The interior sports a woodgrain steering wheel, Sony CD player and factory gauges still in use with additional gauges set under the dash. The engine is a 350-cid V-8 that has been modified with high performance cylinder heads, Manley pistons and rods, roller needle rocker arms, COMP camshaft, headers, dual exhaust, electronic ignition and Edelbrock intake manifold and carburetor. The engine is dressed-up with polished aluminum valve covers, chrome water pump and alternator. The transmission is a series 400 Turbo Hydra-Matic that has been fitted with a B&M quick shifter.

It is reported that this car has won multiple awards and trophies since it has been finished. The car only has 500 miles driven since the mechanical rebuild.
