This Ford has benefited from a frame-off restoration and is finished in beautiful Raven Black with gray upholstery, powered by a 272-cid V-8 engine with dual exhaust and Cherry Bomb mufflers. The transmission is a three-speed column-shift manual. The truck features an original AM radio, spotlight, chrome bumpers, driving lamps, deluxe heater, Vintage Air conditioning and radial tires riding on painted wheels with chrome Ford center caps. A new oak bed floor with stainless strips, cloth seat inserts, modern hidden speakers and step plates were some of the niceties added to this truck during the restoration.
1956 would be the last year for this often sought after pickup. It could easily be argued that F-100s reached its finest design this model year. This pickup with its smooth lines and ground hugging fenders is extremely sought after by collectors and hot rodders alike.
