When new, the Mark IV Lincoln was lauded as a special way to enjoyment. Much like the thrill of landing one’s own aircraft or the fun of a gala weekend party, the excitement, pleasure and fun of the Mark IV Convertible is indeed a special enjoyment.

This is a mostly original example that has just less than 67,000 actual miles and displays what certainly appears to be its original black interior. Remarkably rare as one of just 2,195 units originally produced, this top-line 1959 Lincoln Continental Mark IV Convertible carried a stratospheric $7,056 price when new, befitting its regal stature. Abundant standard features included fender skirts, six-way power seats, tinted glass, a Travel-Tuner radio with dual speakers, power locks, power windows and power vent windows. This car also has air conditioning, factory wheel covers and whitewall tires. Uniquely, the power convertible top incorporated a retractable glass rear window. The top neatly folds under the body-colored hard boot. The standard powerplant was a 430-cid, 350-hp V-8 engine with four-barrel carburetion.
