The robust and reliable Model T was a good platform on which to construct a variety of auto bodies. Whether as a sporty speedster or a more practical depot hack, the universal applicability of Ford’s Flivver ensured its ubiquity in American society. The depot hack variant featured an open wooden body with multiple seats and room to carry the whole family. Compared to their production, precious few wooden-bodied motor cars survive, making them highly desirable. Finished in a rich deep red, this example is of a very high quality with a nearly new body and minimal distractions. All external areas are fresh and nearly show quality. The only hint of use is under the hood panels, where light soiling is present, but all areas were properly restored utilizing correct Ford components. From the leather diamond-tuck upholstery to the nickel-plating on the headlamps, this is a marvelous Model T for the discriminating Ford collector.
