- Later built to “Group 2” specifications in the style of the BMW factory car raced by Dieter Quester in the 1968 and 1969 seasons of the European Touring Car Championship
- Equipped with a four-cylinder engine rated at 185 horsepower, featuring a four-into-one exhaust manifold, forged pistons, performance camshaft, and twin Weber 45 carburettors
- Further modifications include Alpina-style flared arches, BBS alloy wheels, Bilstein shock absorbers, G2 ventilated brake discs, Rally Cell fuel tank, and a reinforced clutch by Sachs
- Black interior features BPS five-point racing harnesses, roll cage, Sabelt Racing bucket seats, and a Targa leather steering wheel
