Built in June 2003, this attractive 575M Maranello is finished in a stunning colour scheme of dark blue over a Cuoio interior. Optional extras include Giallo-painted brake calipers, Scuderia shields, Daytona-style seat inserts, and the F1-style paddle-shift transmission. Accompanying documentation shows that the car was first registered in Michigan, where it remained until 2005. Passing through subsequent owners in New York, Connecticut, and Virginia, the car was imported to Canada when it was acquired by the consignor and has remained in his collection in Montreal ever since.
Having been driven roughly, 10,500 miles by the time it was exported to Canada, the odometer is presently showing just under 12,400 miles from new. Invoices on file show that the brake calipers were repainted in 2017, along with some leather trim on the dashboard being replaced due to stretching near the windshield, a known issue on 575M Maranellos. At the same time, it received a minor service with engine oil and filters replaced. Having accrued minimal mileage since, it is recommended that the car be serviced again prior to being driven regularly on the open road.
Truly coming into its own as a modern classic, Ferrari’s 575M Maranello offered a number of welcome updates over its predecessor, the 550 Maranello, providing for a much-improved driving experience and most notably, a top speed of 201 mph. More than capable of keeping up with sports cars and super cars of today, the 575 Maranello can easily be driven and enjoyed on a daily basis. An excellent choice for someone looking to purchase their first Ferrari, this attractive example surely won’t disappoint.
