This aggressive-looking Shelby GT-H is a rare limited-edition Mustang, serial no. 007 of only 500 such convertibles produced. This rare find was designed exclusively for the Hertz Corporation to be used as part of the revival of their infamous Rent-a-Racer Program and was built by Ford and upgraded by Shelby American at their Las Vegas, Nevada facility.

Celebrating the 40th anniversary of the original Shelby GT350 H, this GT-H comes with a certificate of title from Hertz Vehicles, the original Shelby Invoice, and original window sticker. It was originally part of Hertz’s “Fun Collection” and rented through their Phoenix, Arizona agency. Interestingly, while part of the Hertz fleet, the car was reported as stolen, though only briefly, as was quickly recovered without incident. Following its requisite year in the rental fleet, the Shelby was sold into private ownership. This GT-H is complete with its unique Shelby serial number, CSM no. 07H007, which is displayed prominently in the center of the dash along with a Carroll Shelby autograph, a plaque in the engine bay, as well as etched into the sill plates. It has been attentively maintained and driven only 21,470 miles since new.

This much sought-after Shelby GT-H features many special features, including body side scoops, Shelby performance hood with pins, 14-inch brake package, front and rear anti-lock brake duct kits, driving light package, custom floor mats, and sequential taillamps. Ford Racing Performance Group provided their FR3 Power Pack and FR1 Handling Pack. It also features Ford Racing’s 90m cold-air kit, muffler kit, and X-pipes along with performance calibration, cat-back performance exhaust, and black painted 18-inch aluminum wheels. The interior features luxurious black leather, a power driver’s seat, and a Shaker 500 audio system with six-disc changer.
