Please note the name or company you use to register under will be present on the invoice if you are successful, and we can only receive payment from the buyer as named on the invoice. Please be aware that invoicing details cannot be altered once the lot is won.
Following a successful purchase at auction, bidders are advised that payment is due in full on or before Friday, 10 July. Payment is to be completed via wire transfer. The successful bidder will receive a copy of their Bill of Sale and instructions to remit payment via email.
Buyer’s Premium
In addition to the final bid amount, a buyer’s premium is due on each lot purchased:
Cars:
15% (+20% VAT) on a hammer price up to £200,000
12.5% (+20% VAT) on any balance over £200,000
Memorabilia:
20% (+20% VAT) on the total hammer price
Taxes/Import Duties
Buyers are responsible for any applicable duty and/or local taxes on any lots purchased. International bidders are advised to inform themselves of potential import duties that would be due upon the arrival of the lot at its final destination. You are advised to speak with your local representatives in advance of the sale to understand what these costs may be. Please note for any lot that has entered the sale on a temporary import bond, an administrative fee of £400 + VAT per lot will be charged to the buyer, to oversee the customs formalities.
All UK taxes paid cars, cars on bond, and the children’s car lots will be removed to secure storage in Surrey, operated by CARS Worldwide, immediately following the sale. The cost for this removal will be £550 + VAT per motor car lot and £285 + VAT per children’s car lot to be charged to the buyer. Daily storage fees will commence from Tuesday, 14 July, at a rate of £30 + VAT per lot.
All memorabilia lots offered on bond and smaller memorabilia lots will be removed to secure storage in Paris, immediately following the sale.
