This amazing 2005 customized Harley-Davidson Screaming Eagle V-Rod was reported to be the only motorcycle titled to Evel at the time of his death, and it was the only bike previously sold by the Evel Knievel Estate when it was purchased for the Cars of Dreams Museum. As a Harley-Davidson personally owned by the greatest daredevil ever and a Las Vegas legend, Evel Knievel, this motorcycle is loaded with cache. Evel purchased the bike in his hometown of Butte, Montana, and it still retains the Butte, Montana dealer license plate frame. He once declared it to be his favorite street bike within the entire Harley-Davidson line.

The 2005 Harley-Davidson Screaming Eagle V-Rod has been customized with a very unique raked windscreen, aero-style leather saddlebags, a beautifully embroidered seat, and crash bars. Further customization also includes both sides of the gas tank featuring “Evel” written in gold leaf. Additionally, the 1250 cc bike has a race fuel gas intake and custom chrome pipes, making it roar down the road while streaking the cherry red and gold orange paint dramatically through one’s vision.

While displayed in the Cars of Dreams Museum, the Harley was shown with two framed pieces, including a leather Evel Knieval jacket and a shadow box framed tribute to the 1974 Snake River Canyon jump; as expected, both items are included in the sale of the motorcycle, which is a nice complement to the display.

With an original cost for a stock V-Rod at over $25,000, one can only imagine the final sticker on this example given the extensive customization. It is in like-new condition and shows virtually no wear whatsoever, as it was essentially preserved in “as-new” condition. This fully customized Harley-Davidson represents an excellent opportunity for the motorcycle enthusiast to purchase a true piece of entertainment memorabilia loaded with adrenaline just by its unique and authentic association with a true legend.
