A wonderful and uncommon example of a Ford Country Sedan Station Wagon, which is based on the Galaxie design, that is uncorrupted with 71,121 original, documented miles and remains in fabulous condition.

Purchased from a Ford dealer, pre-owned, in Worcester, MA in 1966; the purchasing family lovingly and impeccably maintained it over 34-years, ultimately selling it to a collector after this long period of time. The second owner was a collector of 1960s Ford models, and he stored it for the next twelve years. It was consistently serviced and maintained, so it stayed in great cosmetic and mechanical condition. The car is powered by its original six-cylinder engine with a three-speed manual transmission.

This is a virtually rust-free car with a gorgeous original interior, very nice original Skylight Blue paint; with excellent chrome, stainless and glass for an original condition vehicle. Everything on the car works and operates as it was originally designed and manufactured. The engine and drivetrain run strong with no unusual noises or smoke. The Ford had 14-inch wheels when new, these have been replaced with 15-inch wheels for a better ride when paired with its new whitewall radial tires.

Featured in Hemmings Motor News as "find of the day" on January 22, 2013; the ensuing discussion touched on the rarity and value of this era of station wagons.

The Ford has many supporting documents and receipts that include the original Bill of Sale from 1966, owner's manual and much more. This wagon has solid floors, rockers and quarter panels and is in overall very nice original condition.
