This 1976 MGB convertible utilizes the seven-foot, seven-inch wheelbase and the rigid monocoque chassis first introduced with the MGB series in 1962. It features hydraulic, vacuum servo-assisted, dual system brakes (10.75-inch disc front, 10-inch drum rear), a 1798-cc, 94-hp four-cylinder engine with five bearing crankshaft, a single diaphragm Borg & Beck clutch, Cam Gears rack and pinion steering, four-speed manual transmission, a live axle 3.909:1 rear differential and is one of the first automobiles designed with crumple zones to protect the occupants. Additional equipment includes stereo, roll bar and the optional alloy wheels.
