This Roman Red with red interior Corvette was purchased new in Pittsburgh by the original owner in June of 1962; being built May 20th, 1962. The current titleholder is the second owner and purchased this car in May of 2007. This roadster is a frame-off restored car that features a 327-cid engine. The engine has solid lifters with .040 over, a new transmission, new paint, new interior and upholstery, new white soft-top, new whitewall tires, new dash, new windshield, new trunk mat, all new chrome, new wiper motor and rebuilt radio. The Corvette on offer is a National Corvette Restorers Society "Top Flight" 97-point car and Antique Automobile Club of America 1st place Junior award winner.
