Highly collectible, the Nash compact has often been known at car shows to steal the limelight away from bigger, more expensive and more commonly seen cars. This two tone white and coral hardtop is a clean example of a collector car that can only be described as fun. Still affordable even as a vintage automobile, the Nash Metropolitan is one of the easiest cars to buy and keep when it comes to car collecting.
At a time when the other American car makers were designing vehicles which all seemed a little larger and more ostentatious each year, the Nash Motor Company believed there was a market for a small economical "commuter" car in the mix. Built for Nash by the Austin company of Great Britain, the little Metropolitans proved their worth over a nine year production run.
