- Unregistered with delivery mileage from new, offered from the original owner
- One of just 16 examples built to celebrate Maserati’s GT2 Fanatec Championship Accompanied by numerous original accessories designed by Sparco and Maserati
Marketed by Maserati themselves as a road-legal version of their GT2 race car based upon the MC20, the GT2 Stradale was first announced to the public at The Quail: A Motorsports Gathering in 2024. Compared to the MC20, the GT2 Stradale saw overall power increased by 10 hp to 640 hp but more impressive was a 60 kg weight reduction, leading the GT2 Stradale to hit a top speed of 325 km/h after a sprint to 100 km/h from a standstill in just 2.8 seconds. Revisions to the bodywork and the addition of a multi-position rear wing allow up to 500 kg of downforce.
Only 194 examples of the GT2 Stradale will be built (in reference to the year in which Maserati was founded: 1914), but far fewer examples of the Edizione Corse, including the car presented here, will be constructed. Built to celebrate Maserati’s success in the 2024 GT2 FANATEC Championship, just sixteen examples will be built to represent Maserati’s number of podium finishes from that season.
Further separating itself from the standard GT2 Stradale, each Edizione Corse is fitted with a titanium racing exhaust, lightweight alloy wheels, expanded interior carbon fibre trim including carbon on the transmission tunnel, door sills, paddle shifters, and cluster cap. The Maserati Corse logo can also be found on the C-pillar, further celebrating Maserati success in motorsport.
Finally, for the lucky owners, the Edizione Corse is also accompanied by a branded helmet, race suit, balaclava, duffel bag, gloves, and shoes, all produced specifically by Sparco for Maserati, as well as a bespoke Goodwool car cover.
This example, serial number 06/16 was delivered new to the current owner in France earlier this year. Finished in Nero Essenza and fitted with forged Monodado wheels painted black with an anodized blue centre lock, inside the car is trimmed with Nero Alcantara, offset with Blue Alcantara seats. Unregistered and never driven by the current owner, remains in virtually as-new condition throughout, having just 5 km showing on its odometer at the time of cataloging. A fascinating alternative to a Porsche 911 GT3 RS, this represents an incredible opportunity to acquire an as-new, limited production example of the ultimate edition of Maserati’s flagship supercar.
