In their own words, the 812 Competizione “is the ultimate expression of Ferrari’s concept of an extreme front-engined berlinetta and hones the characteristics of the critically acclaimed 812 Superfast to a level never seen before.” Following in the footsteps of the 599 GTO and F12tdf, this new twelve-cylinder Special Series flagship introduced the most powerful naturally aspirated engine ever to feature in a Ferrari road car. Producing 812 brake horsepower at 9,500 rpm, a sprint to 62 mph from a standstill could be achieved in just 2.85 seconds, leading to a top speed of 211 mph. Just 999 cars would be built, all allocated to Ferrari’s top clients that the brand deemed worthy of handling such an exciting automobile.

Delivered new via Ferrari of San Diego, over $150,000 in optional extras were specified for this particular 812 Competizione. Finished in Matte Nero (DS 205500 Opaco 5-10 gloss) with dual Matte Rosso Magma (FYM. 161328 Opaco 5-10 gloss) racing stripes alongside airbrushed Scuderia shields and sitting on diamond-polished forged wheels with red Pirelli detailing on the tires and matching red brake calipers, this sinister specification perfectly suits the 812 Competizione’s character. The theme continues inside with the interior trimmed in Nero Alcantara with large-sized racing seats fitted with the seat lifter, trimmed in Rosso Alcantara in the checked pattern. Further Rossa details can be seen in the boot carpet, contrasting stitching, and further red details on the dashboard.

Numerous carbon fiber options were specified including the carbon fiber filter box, engine covers, rear diffuser, front air vents, under door cover, inner door handles, instrument cover, parcel shelf, the upper part of the center console, and dashboard inserts. Practicality was clearly a priority as well, with Apple CarPlay, the suspension lifter, adaptive headlights, heat insulating windscreen, passenger display, and the upgraded hi-fi stereo system. In total, the car’s MSRP came to $766,226.00.

Remaining in California with its original owner, the 812 Competizione was bought by the current owner in 2024. Its most recent annual service was carried out by Ferrari of Palm Beach in April of 2025, and the car has accrued minimal mileage since with the odometer currently showing less than 550 miles from new. It is accompanied by a handful of previous service invoices, the original window sticker, a battery tender, car cover, and its original owners manuals.

Tastefully specified in a spectacular color combination, the 812 Competizione is a must-have model in any collection of limited-edition Ferraris. Benefitting from a recent servicing and low mileage, all it needs is an enthusiastic new owner ready to experience one of Ferrari’s most cutting-edge automobiles.
