In 2019, Ferrari celebrated 90 years of Scuderia Ferrari by unveiling two distinct vehicles designated SF90: one a Formula 1 racecar, the other a highly advanced roadgoing supercar, the SF90 Stradale. Though disparate in purpose, their shared badge signaled a deeper technical and philosophical connection.
Continuing Ferrari’s longstanding practice of adapting motorsport technology for the road, both the Formula 1 car and the SF90 Stradale are built around an advanced hybrid powertrain. A twin-turbocharged V-8 engine producing 769 horsepower is paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission and three electric motors—two mounted at the front axle and one at the rear—powered by a 7.9-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery. While the system allows for limited electric-only operation, its primary objective is performance. The electric motors contribute an additional 217 horsepower, resulting in a combined output of 986 horsepower, placing the SF90 Stradale among the most powerful road cars Ferrari has ever produced.
Unsurprisingly, performance is astounding: Zero to 60 mph in approximately 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 211 mph. As with Ferrari’s Formula 1 program, an exceptional focus on control and drivability balances the pursuit of absolute speed. The dual front motors enable sophisticated torque-vectoring, while an array of electronic systems—including F1 Traction Control, E-Diff, Electronic Side Slip Angle Control, and Ferrari Dynamic Enhancer 2.0—optimize stability and driver engagement.
The SF90 Stradale made its public debut in 2019, followed in November 2020 by the SF90 Spider. The Spider features Ferrari’s latest retractable hardtop design, engineered to preserve the coupe’s proportions and structural integrity while offering the thrill of open-air driving. The lightweight aluminum roof operates in just 14 seconds, is 88 pounds lighter than conventional systems, and occupies minimal space when stowed beneath the rear deck. The result is a highly accomplished open-top supercar that retains the performance and technical sophistication of the original Stradale.
The SF90 Spider offered here represents an incredible opportunity to circumvent the years-long waiting period typically required with bespoke Ferraris. Showing 123 miles at cataloguing, it is heaped with nearly $178,000 of individual specifications custom-ordered through the company’s Atelier program, making for a truly unique, one-of-one creation.
The exterior is finished in stunning, special-order Azzurro Dino Mica paint, a $33,000 option, combined with special livery featuring tasteful black and yellow graphics, costing an additional $30,373. Every customized component was given careful consideration, as seen in the black 20-inch forged wheels, black tailpipes, and exposed carbon fiber elements throughout, which beautifully offset the deep blue paint. Vivid yellow striping and brake calipers punctuate the presentation and highlight the fender-mounted Scuderia shields.
Inside, Nero leather provides a sumptuous base for additional details deliberately chosen to weave the exterior’s rich color palette into the cabin. These include blue contrast stitching, numerous exposed carbon fiber elements, yellow seatbelts, leather and Alcantara floormats with yellow embroidered logos, and size large, carbon fiber Daytona racing seats with perforated Alcantara inserts, seat lifters, and yellow embroidered logos on the headrests. Other special equipment designed to improve convenience, safety, and driving enjoyment includes Ferrari’s Advanced Front Lighting System (AFS), suspension lifter, Apple CarPlay, fire extinguisher, and wheel stud bolts in titanium.
In May 2025, the car received an annual service from Twin Cities Performance Ferrari of Golden Valley, Minnesota, which included replacing the fluids, filters, and 12-volt battery.
A beautifully executed and singular example of one of the most desirable and elusive modern-day supercars in existence, this exceptionally well-detailed, Atelier-customized SF90 Spider is the perfect choice for the discerning collector seeking something special beyond Ferrari’s usual offerings and within a far shorter timeframe.
