Sealed is thrilled to announce this incredible McLaren F1 GTR, chassis number 027R. The fourth McLaren F1 to be offered on the Sealed since the platform’s inception in 2022, 027R was built for the 1997 FIA GT Championship as the second to last of just ten ‘Longtail’ GTRs built. The winner of the season-opening round of the British GT championship at Silverstone, 027R would not only become the first ‘Longtail’ to win a race, but it would be the only privately entered ‘Longtail’ to lead a round of the FIA GT Championship. Fastidiously restored and converted to road use by Lanzante Ltd (McLaren Petersfield) and recently serviced by them, it remains ready for numerous concours and historic racing events worldwide.
