Specifications: 350 cc SOHC Desmo parallel twin, five speeds.
Ducati tried hard with the 1970s 350/500-cc parallel twins, but Fabio Taglioni would have nothing to do with them, as he was developing the belt-drive, V-twin Pantah. The early 1975 GTL models were disappointingly slow, but the picture brightened when the Desmo 350 and 500 models were introduced, equipped with Borrani rims, Marzocchi forks and Brembo brakes. A 500 Sport Desmo and the racing 500 Super Sport followed in 1977. The bike on offer is one of the most desirable Sport Desmo models, though with the 350-cc engine. It is attractively finished in yellow and black and appears to be a sound original and rare machine.
