Specifications: 249 cc SOHC single, four speeds.
Having started life as a road machine, this narrow-case 250-cc SOHC bike was rebuilt for hill climbing between 1970-75. During that time it was raced by privateers in many local Italian events. It features minimalist construction appropriate to hillclimbs and sprints with clip-on bars, rear-set foot-pegs and a Veglia competition tachometer. It has Marzocchi forks and a four-speed gearbox, and the carburettor is a single Dell’Orto VHB 29AD. The bike rides on Borrani alloy rims with a racing twin leading-shoe drum brake fitted to the front. Presented in silver with a red frame, this Hillclimb Corsa is finished to racing standards.
