Specifications: 50 cc single cylinder two-stroke, four speeds.
Amongst the last of the 50-cc Ducati Sports, the SL/1 is possibly the most elegant of the variants. A tiny machine weighing only about 100 lbs, it was capable of 50 mph and finally gained a four-speed gearbox. It also had twin fuel fillers on the petrol tank, a year before the 350 Desmo Mark 3 would have the same feature, and the exhaust was moved to the right-hand side. This example is an older restoration, handsomely painted in red and silver and with excellent chrome.
