A true heir to the hallowed V-12 grand tourers of the 1950s and 1960s, the F12berlinetta is powered by Ferrari’s flagship 6.2-liter V-12 engine producing a monumental 730 horsepower—enough to propel the stunning coupe to 60 mph in just 3.1 seconds on its way to a top speed of 211 mph. Instantly adored by the automotive press and clients alike, the car made a perfect canvas for Ferrari to apply its unique liveries celebrating the company’s 70th anniversary in 2017. To mark its platinum jubilee, the firm produced a limited run finished in 70 different liveries, all representing important models from the company’s past.
This truly exceptional, one-of-one F12berlinetta is finished in Azzurro Metallic with Canna di Fucile roof over a Connolly Vaumol Luxan Cream leather interior. It was built to honor the Ferrari 550 Barchetta Pininfarina, a car which was itself built to honor coachbuilder Pininfarina’s own 70th Anniversary in 2000. Among the most celebrated of the 70th Anniversary liveries, Azzurro Metallic pays homage not only to the 550 Barchetta Pininfarina, but also to the sublime Azzurro Metallic-clad grand tourers of the 1960s.
An accompanying window sticker and trunk-mounted dedication plate list the car as equipped with Apple CarPlay, adaptive front light system (AFS), dual-view parking camera, and a high-power audio system. These special features, in conjunction with the Tailor Made 70th Anniversary package added almost $150,000 to the purchase price for an impressive manufacturer suggested retail price of $464,809.34. Additional service invoices document time and mileage inspections performed by Ferrari of Austin, Texas in 2021 and Boardwalk Ferrari of Plano, Texas in 2023, both of which indicated minimal attention was necessary. The consignor also notes the car’s front end has been wrapped in a paint protection film to preserve its stunning bespoke finish.
Now displaying just over 1,100 miles and presented in an exceptionally wonderful livery honoring among the most coveted grand touring Ferraris of the twenty-first century, this special-edition Ferrari’s uniqueness compounds the inherent allure that the F12berlinetta—a high-water mark for modern, front-engine, rear-wheel-drive 12-cylinder coupes—has wielded since inception, making it an unmatched choice for marque enthusiasts and devotees of Pininfarina’s coachbuilding lore who seek the rarest of an already rare and hallowed breed.
