Original 1948 Indian Chief Roadmaster. San Leandro, CA Police department motorcycle. Bike was sold in '65 from police department. This is an original paint motorcycle with only the tank being repainted. Speedo mileage 27,243. Motor apparently changed out with a 1953 Chief engine back in the day. Bike runs well and easy to kick start. This motorcycle has been in professional collection storage for the past 5 years. Without battery. Last registered in 1988, selling with California title and with reserve.
