Launched in 1953, the 210 was Chevrolet’s midrange option, sitting between the standard 150 and upscale Bel Air. For 1957, its final model year, updates across the entire Chevrolet lineup made an already appealing design even more irresistible, ensuring that these would become some of the most sought-after American collector cars of their era. The hooded headlights, wide, oval front grille, and distinctive bomb-shaped bumper guards combined to create an unforgettable profile now synonymous with 1950s Americana. Available in coupe, sedan, and station wagon body styles, the 210 featured additional side trim and interior appointments compared to the lesser 150 line. An inline six-cylinder and various eight-cylinder engines were available.

This special Chevrolet 210 Four-Door Sedan with period-style reproduction U-Haul trailer is notable for having appeared in the popular, award-winning television series “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” where was featured several times as a car belonging to Mrs. Maisel’s father, played by actor tony Shaloub. While its early history is unknown, this 210 sedan is confirmed to be a desirable factory V-8 model, as indicated by its chassis-number prefix. It is finished in eye-catching Coronado Yellow with black accents and features a continental tire kit. The correct Charcoal and white interior coordinates beautifully with the exterior and features an aftermarket AM/FM stereo with a cassette player, USB and 12-volt charging ports mounted discretely under the dash, and two period-style RoadPro fans for increased ventilation. The reproduction trailer features period-style graphics supplied by U-Haul for an authentic look. A custom-engineered trailer hitch allows the trailer to be hooked up while retaining the continental kit.

Acquired by the consignor in December 2021 following several rentals from the previous Connecticut owner dating to 2018, this 210 sedan has been well maintained as part of a picture-car collection in the Northeast. Work completed in 2022 included replacing the battery, alternator, radiator, starter, and rear axle bearings, installing rear seatbelts for three (to accompany the existing front lap belts), recommissioning the fuel system with a new fuel tank, rebuilding the carburetor, electric fuel pump, and PowerGlide automatic transmission, and installing new transmission mounts. Copies of service and parts invoices accompany the sale.

Featured in multiple Mrs. Maisel episodes and in other shows, including the upcoming post-apocalyptic Amazon series "Fallout" and ESPN’s “NFL Icon” episode on football legend Jim Brown, this 210 benefits from 25-years of single previous ownership and presents in pleasing condition with patina throughout. Well outfitted in an attractive color scheme that nearly puts it on par with the higher-end Bel Air, it will make an excellent conversation piece at any gathering.
