After a thorough restoration into a restomod configuration, this 1965 Ford Mustang wears Shelby American inspired colors and GT markings. The Mustang “notchback” is amply powered by its 288-cid, 390-hp engine which has a hydraulic cam, Malhe forged pistons and plasma “moly” piston rings. Oversized valves, Billet Specialties serpentine chrome kit, Holley fuel pump, Edelbrock carburetor, custom aluminum radiator and stainless steel exhaust are all employed to move this machine down the road.
Among the other features is the C4 automatic transmission, Wilwood four-wheel disc braking system, new shocks, new electrical system, custom leather interior with seats and door panels matching, air conditioning, radio, aftermarket steering wheel, new American Racing five-spoke chromed wheels and Mickey Thompson tires. The engine bay is beautifully presented and has braided hoses and many polished components for an extra-tidy look deserving of such a car.
