This car’s build began with an original 1929 all-steel Ford Model A Roadster and a 1932 “deuce” frame. The custom doors and hood were handmade; the frame and axles are powdercoated, and the suspension is chromed and polished. The Ford is powered by a high output Ford 302-cid V-8 engine. The engine has DSS Racing aluminum heads, Holley high performance fuel pump and carburetor, March pulley system and MSD ignition. This unit is connected to a Ford C4 automatic transmission and a Richmond quick-change rear end and the driveshaft is one-piece, aluminum and polished. Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes are also amongst the mechanical features.

The custom interior is presented in red and has B-29 aircraft seat frames and various switches. Auto Meter competition instruments, wheels with “spinoffs,” custom tires and a custom-built heat-wrapped exhaust contribute to the final effect of this machine which is reported to have had over $100,000 invested in its construction. Also included is the build history with parts and labor invoices, photos and tech information.
