Truly great design never grows old. Rolls-Royce introduced the Corniche Drophead Coupe in 1970 as a convertible variant of the popular Silver Shadow. It was produced for a remarkable and unprecedented 25 years. Each vehicle was specially ordered at Mulliner Park Ward Coachworks in London, taking over a month to handcraft to a magnificent standard. Only the finest Connolly leather was used within, and the top alone was crafted so perfectly that it fit like the roof of a coupe.

This model of car originally sold new in excess of $150,000; this example of the Corniche represents the epitome of 1980s luxury. The Magnolia shade interior of the vehicle offered is nothing short of immaculate. All the wood veneers look excellent. The top, mouton wool carpets, and black paint are all in remarkably nice condition. The car is reported as being driven sparingly and is driven smoothly by its fuel-injected 6.75-liter, 282-hp V-8 engine with automatic transmission.

Luxury appointments are in abundance with this Rolls-Royce, as expected. Among the features, you will find air conditioning, boot for the convertible top, cruise control, Connolly leather interior, outside thermometer, trunk mat, burled walnut interior trim, radio with cassette; power top, six-way seats, door locks, windows, steering and brakes. The books also accompany this fine car and $11,000 worth of maintenance has just been completed.
