This stylish model was promoted as the “glamour leader of the Futuramic fleet – the luxurious new Oldsmobile 98.” It sported a beautiful new Body by Fisher; the lowest and widest in Oldsmobile’s history at that time. The 98 also featured dazzling new interiors that were tailored and trimmed in new fabrics and materials. The car had panoramic visibility in all directions, with the windshield sweeping across in an unbroken one-piece arc of safety glass. The rear window curves all the way around to blend into the sides of the body.

The Olds 98 is powered by the Rocket 303-cid, 135-hp V-8 and is paired to a Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. This car is beautifully presented in Black with a gray broadcloth-type material that looks to be in wonderful condition and is covered in clear plastic protection. Additional equipment on the Town Sedan includes fender skirts, windshield visor, clock, radio, wide whitewall tires and factory wheel covers. In period, Oldsmobile declared of the 98 that “every refinement for your motoring pleasure has been included.”
