This custom Thunderbird took five years to build. It is powered by a 390-cid, 300-hp engine and a C4 automatic gearbox is fitted into a stock chassis with two-inch drop coils in front, and three-inch in the rear. The top has been chopped four and a half inches, the hood has been stretched and peaked, the rear rolled and a custom Carson-style top has been fitted. It also features power steering, power brakes and power windows; plus it is reported to be a good highway driver. New pearlescent green custom paint, countless body modifications and the custom interior make this 1963 Thunderbird a real show stopper. It received a top ten award at an unnamed Goodguys event, selected as a best custom by Chip Foose in Atlantic City, and has received many first and best of show awards at local shows.
